My family

This is my family. Strange, YES! Very much so! Life is a crazy ride. 10 years ago in high school, if you would have told me that I would have been married twice with a freaking 17 year old step daughter, 2 boys and a baby on the way, I would have laughed, HARD! Who would have ever guessed that performing would end and family life begin so quickly. I don't have regrets! I love my life. There are many mornings that I like alot of people wake up and say "Whoa! What the crap happened!" I am so happy for all of my friends I love to look through your blogs and see your incredible families and how happy you are!

Brighton Cabin Retreat

Each year, my great husband rents out a HUGE cabin up at Brighton. We invite my whole family to come and play cards, and games, and go skiing!! I love to ski with my family although this year may be interesting. Karson loves to ski. Last year, I had a blast with him on the bunny hill. He even was brave enough to handle a green run! He is a stud of a little kid. I am lucky to have such a cool family that loves to play together.

Flowrider

Last Saturday for Karson's birthday after the crazy 10- 5 year olds at my house party, we went up to the flowrider in Ogden, It is such a fun place...

I got to watch with my brother Chad and his wife Kristens little boy who is almost one, Mitch.

It was fun to watch Chad, Kristen, Dave, Sam and Karson have fun though. It scared Kars a little when he would be going for a longer amount of time. Karson's other biggest complaint, was that he ran into the wall and really "hurt his little dude". I recommend the Flowrider! I can't wait till I can go in 7 months!

Reno- We are coming back!

This Friday my husband and I are going to Reno, or I should say back to Reno...
2 and a half years ago, Dave and I eloped to Reno one weekend. Flew out on Saturday, got married in a little teeny white church by a 75 year old 4 foot lady!
We played the rest of the weekend and came home married!
We always said we would go back for our anniversary, we didn't make it for number 1 or 2, so we are going now. It was absolutely the most perfect wedding, I would suggest it to anyone. It ended up actually being about our marriage, not about dresses and cake and flowers, and whos Aunt is pissed off for not getting a corsage! I wouldn't change one thing about Dave and I's wedding or marriage..

Seasonal Affected Disorder!!!

About 5 years ago my parents bought this little piece of crap house in Idaho, they bought it for about $50,000. We spent the first summer remodeling and basically rebuilding the house. The second summer we played and in August my siblings and I decided to purchase a boat! For the last 3 summers every weekend you can find us at Bearlake with what has become quite the set up. Paddle boats, Canoes, Kayaks, A water trampoline, barbeques, an RV, Multiple Tubes and a Boat! What could be more fun! We didn't really think through the timing of having a baby, I am due in the Middle of JULY! There goes my wakeboarding till August! I think it is worth it, don't get me wrong, it still sucks though!

We have become the family in St. Charles that every other town member hates! I can't blame them, every weekend 40 rowdy people showing up with Motorcycles, go-carts, and a ton of illegal fireworks that have missed burning down the neighbors house by inches on multiple occasions...But, we have a good time.

I am thankful that my parents have decided to create this type of inheritance and a place that the 22 grandkids can go each week to get to know each other and really become the best of friends! I am thankful I have such a great family that everyone is friends, there is no funk, there isn't any "elephants in the living room" type things. Everyone takes care of everyones kids, and loves each other...

KARSON IS 6 YEARS OLD!!!

I can't believe that my little boy is 6 years old tomorrow, it goes by so fast!

Today, Karson came in and announced that today was such and important day! "Almost like a holiday"...I asked him what important day was today, He told me "Well, Mom, today is the last day I am going to be 5 years old, we need to celebrate today"... Talk about a kid that knows how to sucker his Mom into a few more things!

We also got to hear the heartbeat of our newest edition to be yesterday, It is amazing, the whole process! I wake up so many times in life and think to myself " What the hell are you doing?" Here I am 25, I have a soon to be 17 year old stepdaughter, 13 year old stepson, my 6 year old little boy, and we are really starting all over again, I guess I fit the stereo typical Mormon Mom complex now, with having a brand new baby at a high school graduation!

Greatest Party Idea EVER

For my brother Tony's 30th birthday my sister in law threw him an 80's prom, with a blue polyester suit and all! It was so much fun, jamming to MC Hammer in our ugly hideous dresses. Yes, mine was actually my sisters prom dress from 1987! I loved it, It was a great party

I LOVE MY HUSBAND....

I know I know, I am only 25, but I feel so lucky in life to be married to my husband. Being married before only solidifies my belief that I am the most blessed person in the world. My husband and I have been married for 2.5 years and he is so good to me. I can't even tell you how spoiled I am.
We get to travel all over the place just for fun. My favorite trips have been to D.C., Cozumel, Florida, and even Boise was a blast! I hope that everyone has found as much happiness as I have :)

Good things

There are some things in life that you look back on tons and think, "Man that was such a killer day!"....Last May in Hawaii, we swam with the Dolphins like some dude drinking Mai Tais dropping you off in the middle of the ocean swim with the wild dolphins, it was one of the greatest things I ever remember doing! I can't wait to go back to Hawaii in May, even big and pregnant should be fun!

Kids and pregnancy...

You know it is a whole different ballgame being pregnant with kids. The first time I was pregnant, my whole world revolved around the "precious" baby growing etc etc....Then you have a 6 year old and everything changes, My life consists now of just trying to keep up with the day. My son is so sweet and tries to take care of me and the baby, but then comes up with comments like, Mom I am excited for you to get fat, so that you can go on a weight loss contest like on TV, which makes me feel really great about life, ya know....

Dallas Cowboys rule

I love the Cowboys, was raised a true-blue Broncos fan, but I am a converted Cowgirl :)
Dave and I have gone to 2 Cowboys games now in Dallas, sat 50 yard line 2nd row it was amazing :)

MY FAVORITE THINGS IN LIFE

I am absolutely convinced that I have the absolute best possible life a person could have. I have a wonderful husband, one incredible son, 2 good stepkids and a baby on the way....I get to spend every weekend of my summer in bear lake on the boat and we are spoiled rotten.....My parents bought a farm house in bear lake that is the greatest place on earth. My kids get to go-cart and play and wakeboard and have sleepovers with their cousins every weekend. I am so blessed in life. :)

Little Boys say the dangdest things

Last night, I come home from work to have my soon to be 6 year old tell me..MOM, you suck!...It caught me so off guard all I could do was laugh. I asked him what he meant, he told me I didn't make a good wii quarterback on Madden 08, Cracks me up!!
I love being a Mom.

Halloween Kids

Man I am a sucky blogger!!!

Man, I seriously need to put some effort into this blogger thing. Life is good, fall is a bitter sweet time for me, I love the summer more than any other time of the year. I love the boat, the sun, the water, and spending time with the boys, more than anything...But, I do love the fall colors the chill in the air, and the fun holiday's. We hold a Halloween party every year at our home, it is so fun.
